Communication is cited as one of the most important success factors or one of the crucial failure reason of any undertaking. Effective communication is targeted and simple. But how to incorporate a simple communication to a complex problem with multi-level actors involved? This is one of the greatest challenges for the European Union Strategy for Baltic Sea Region.

Let’s Communicate! project goes on contributing to further development of EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) communication strategy and increasing involvement of various actors in the Region.

Within the Baltic Sea Subregional States Cooperation (BSSSC) Annual Conference Solidarity, participation and smart action for a better future” , Let’s Communicate! will host an inspiring workshop “Communicating Baltic Sea region cooperation as simple as possible – but not simpler. The contribution from the regions”, which will take place on the second day of the Conference.

In the workshop the focus will be given to the importance of regional and local actors in communicating Baltic Sea region cooperation and to the benefits it brings about to the civil society.

“We have gathered excellent and diversified panellists to discuss the burning issues of EUSBSR communication strategy, says Marta Czarnecka-Gallas, Let’s Communicate coordinator within Pomorskie in the EU Association. “We do acknowledge the role of the regional and local actors in communicating the EUSBSR and we aim to involve them in the process of communicating the EUSBSR in a more effective way”, she continues and adds that the anticipated outcome of the workshop will be a valuable output to the upcoming revision of the EUSBSR communication strategy.

The registration to the Conference and the full Programme can be found here. Registration is open until the 24th of August!
