In early October 2018 Interreg Baltic Sea Region launches the second call of the funding instrument “Project platforms”. In a project platform, core partners of Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects can cooperate with partners from other EU funded programmes and coordinators of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea region.

To support the forming up of project platforms, a development seminar is organised in Berlin, Germany on 13 November 2018. It is addressed to project partners of Interreg Baltic Sea Region regular projects, coordinators of the EUSBSR and representatives from projects of other EU funding programmes that work on such topics as:

Research and innovation infrastructures,

Smart specialisation approach and strategies,

Marine bottom litter management,

Management of marine space, and

Climate change adaptation and mitigation.

During the seminar the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) explains main features and requirements for project platforms. The second part of the event is devoted to pitching platform ideas and developing them further.

At the end of the seminar, individual consultations with the MA/JS are possible upon prior request.

Registration opens in the beginning of October.
