The Council of Oulu Region and the Arctic Task Force of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) Baltic Sea Commission warmly invite interested stakeholders to the seminar “Harnessing the potential of the green transition and securing the stability of the European Arctic for an attractive and resilient Europe”, taking place on 9 April 2024 from 09.00 to 11.45 in Helsinki at the Parliament of Finland (Mannerheimintie 30).

The event is hosted in collaboration with the Finnish Delegation to the Conference of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region (CPAR). More information and registration are attached.

A substantial part of the Baltic Sea Region is referred to as the European Arctic, (comprised of the northernmost regions in Finland, Sweden and Norway), and their development is closely interlinked. The CPMR Baltic Sea Commission is promoting the increase of awareness of arctic issues, within the Baltic Sea Region.
