EUSBSR Policy Areas (PAs) Ship and Safe organize a workshop on offshore energy and safety of maritime traffic. The workshop will take place in Riga (on-site only) on October 4, 2023. The workshop is organized during the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2023.

In the workshop, the plan is to bring together different actors from shipping, port authorities and spatial planners, policy makers and regulatory authorities and give the opportunity to discuss and create cooperation networks. Introductions from Maritime Spatial planning perspective and Maritime traffic on UNCLOS perspective (UN Convention on the Law of the Seas) will be heard first and then continuing with panel discussion and sharing experiences.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and engage with industry experts in the field of wind farm planning and permit authority. Whether you are a professional in the maritime or renewable energy sector, a researcher, or simply interested in this dynamic field, we invite you to join us for an informative and interactive session.

Workshop program will be available until the beginning of September.

Please register here. The deadline for registrations is September 10, 2023.
