Podcast is a very common name for many audiences but still might raise a question for some. What is this new information channel that has become very popular in recent years? To make it clear, podcast is an audio information produced in episodic thematic series and it covers many topics, interests and discussions.
The Covid-19 pandemic has severe negative effects on many small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). In order to reduce the damage as far as possible, the EUSBSR together with the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) has initiated a European support program. The goal is to include the other two remaining strategies, the Adriatic-Ionian and the Alpine. 
The CPMR Baltic Sea Commission held its General Assembly on 21 October, for the first time online. The event brought together representatives from 20 Member Regions to review activities carried out during the last year and to discuss EU policies of relevance for regional authorities.
Spatial planning can be defined as the coordination of practices and policies affecting spatial organization. Spatial planning includes all levels of land use planning including urban planning, regional planning, national spatial plans, and in the European Union regional and international levels.

EUSBSR in the eyes of innovators

Nowadays, while the world is changing rapidly, innovation is everywhere around us and digital transformation encompassed all areas of life. Steve Jobs once said, “innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity – not a threat.”
It is not far from now when the Baltic Sea Region family will meet again at the EUSBSR Annual Forum. On 20 October 2020, first ever online EUSBSR Forum will take place. Let’s Communicate project team took the opportunity to meet the organisers to find out what to await from this event.

At the National Coordinators' online meeting on 29-30 June 2020  EMERGE project under the Policy Area Ship was granted a Flagship status. Let’s get to know EMERGE and see what the project brings to the EUSBSR.
In order to implement EUSBSR successfully capacity building for actors involved in the implementation of the Strategy is needed so that they are able to navigate in the multilevel governance system of the region, identify and address gaps within thematic areas.
